Fight Academy Australia recommends that you seek medical advice before participating in any sessions at our gym. Participating in any exercise at our gym is done so at the member or visitor's own risk. All new members or visitors are required to sign a liability waiver form before training.

  • All of our coaches will use methods in which they may ‘correct’ or adjust a client’s stance or exercise form, and as such might make physical contact with you. This type of instruction is in place to ensure safer practice and limit of injury to clients while exercising and has been reduced in post Covid-19 social distancing world. By taking part in a session you acknowledge that you accept this method of instruction and take part in the session at your own risk.

  • Fight Academy Australia reserves the right to make changes to the session schedules, opening hours, membership pricing and coaches at any time.

  • You are responsible for the loss, theft or breakage of any personal belongings you bring into the gym. We recommend not bringing valuable items into sessions, such as phones, jewellery, wallets or purses.

  • When signing up to one of our memberships, you must agree to the membership agreement detailed in the sign up process. This agreement authorises the direct debit and lists any conditions specific to your membership or package.

  • As part of the membership agreement, Fight Academy Australia reserves the right to refuse entry to sessions or cancel bookings if a customer’s account is in arrears and until they bring their account up to date. Fight Academy Australia requires 7 business days written notice of a ‘freeze’ / on hold period – sent to enquiries@fightacademyaustralia.com.au. The minimum term of payments will be required regardless of any hold period chosen, meaning your membership will be extended for each week of the hold allowance used. The following periods are allowed for membership types:

Membership on a 6 month contract term = 6 weeks hold period allowed

  • All memberships are set to automatically roll over to another membership period. If you choose to terminate your membership, written (email) notification to enquiries@fightacademyaustralia.com.au

It is the member’s responsibility to schedule their own sessions using Fight Academy Australia's online booking system or Gym Master app. Members must provide 12 hours’ notice to cancel a session. If they do not give this sufficient notice, or they do not show for a booked session the session will be debited from their weekly allowance of sessions or member package. For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, attendees will not be permitted to enter a session once the session has started and therefore will lose this booked session from their weekly allowance of sessions or member package. This is a strict policy, thanks for your understanding.

  • Our membership packages, session packages, casual sessions and event tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Unused sessions are not rolled over to the next period. If a customer is unsatisfied with the services provided by Fight Academy Australia or believes that they may be entitled to a refund, then Fight Academy Australia requires the customer to contact us directly via enquiries@fightacademyaustralia.com.au outlining why you believe you are entitled to a refund attached any medical certificates if relevant so we are able to adequately respond to your request. Please note that a refund made under these circumstances will incur a 10% charge on the amount refunded to cover admin and any Ezidebit fees.

  • It is important you cancel out of a session if you can't make it. This will open up the space for someone else to attend. If you are unsure how to do this please talk to us. If you are on a waitlist and the session is more than 12 hours away (outside the cancellation period) you should be automatically transferred into the session if a spot frees up. It's important to check your bookings regularly. If the session is within 12 hours before the session starts, you will need to check your waitlist and move yourself in. Where possible we will message members within this period to advise you of the vacant spot. Depending on your notifications setting, you may not get the emails or it could be outside of session hours (ie. overnight). We advise members to check regularly and if people can late cancel rather than no show, others are more likely to get a spot. Thanks everyone as we try to ensure people can make sessions and no spots are missed.
